What do you do on this day??

I was taking pictures, drawing a beach house, watching TV, the internet: chatting, downloading a movie. Well my big moment "pagan" jaja, was continue my reading, yes I'm reading the Popol Vuh, a great religious book on the vision and creation of the Maya, of the tribe Quitche, which was located in Guatemala and others places.
I read in school, but at that time was to pass the subject, and I´m not remember most of it.

Este día me dediqué a tomar fotos temáticas, ver televisión, entrar al inter a chatear y bajar una película. Mi gran momento "pagano" ha sido el seguir una lectura; ando leyendo el Popol vuh, un libro religioso sobre los quitches, tribu maya que se localizó principalmente en Guatemala C.A, este lo leí en el colegio, pero no recuerdo mucho y también fue para pasar la materia XD.

Holaa, feliz Beltane bien atrasado XD, pero hasta ahorita me dieron ganas de celebrar y de postear.

Fue algo pequeño y con mucho cariño, lleno de energía y calma total.

Hi, Happy beltaine!!! Yesterday I did a meditation and the fire ritual :)
It was a small "ritual" but full with good energy an peace.

Me dediqué a meditar antes de encender las velas para los dioses, pero puse incienso de sándalo, es de mis favoritos y es perfecto para limpiar y protección.

Luego en el altar puse mis velas, el incienso, las figuras, el supuesto "caldero", y monedas, ya que hice petición de abundancia y otros.

Martes de reflexión

Bueno tengo ratitos de no postear, y estube pensando que dejaré el blog XDD no mentiras, pero no postearé tant seguido, a veces no me dan ganas, y tengo otros blogs, creo que me pasa siempre algo cuando va ser luna llena, la energía que influye yo si creo que es fuerte :S, lo que pasa es que también yo ando en una terapia de sanación indúe, me siento mal y triste, pero ya voy mejorando, son cosas del interior, ya no ando llorando tanto como antes, así que creo que cuando me anime mucho mas, podré dedicarme a lleno a las cosas que me gustan y me llena ^^

No se preocupen seguiré con lo del chocolate, aunque ya termine el mes de abril XD.

Se viene la luna llena, ¿Qué harán?

Yo una meditación, rezo y brindis con chocolate caliente.

Y para Mayo ya se viene Beltane, aun ni se si haré algo en serio.

El cacao-chocolate maya

Me perdi un ratito, pero acá una pequeña info que recopilé y redacté.

Decidí poner el tema acá por ser parte de Latinoamerica, pero si no lo mueves xana XD.

El cacao o comida de los dioses fue cultivado y tomado por los Mayas desde hace mas de 2,500 años; sin embargo existen evidencias que aún antes los Olmecas en la costa del golfo de México también lo tenían.

Esta planta solo se podía sembrar en tierras bajas donde no hubieran heladas, por ello los Aztecas conquistaban aquellas zonas para que les dieran cacao; ambas civilizaciones la consumían, pero al principio era una bebida de élite, de reyes, para mercaderes y soldados de alto rango

Hacia el año 450 DC, se empezaron a colocar vasos magníficos, llenos de bebidas de chocolate, en las tumbas de los reyes mayas; estos presentan textos jeroglíficos en los cuales se describe el sabor particular del chocolate servido. De hecho, prácticamente todos los vasos cilíndricos pintados o labrados en los entierros mayas clásicos eran recipientes para chocolate. Además de su función como ofrendas funerarias, los documentos etnohistóricos y la etnología dicen que entre los mayas antiguos y coloniales, se servía chocolate durante la negociación y celebración de matrimonios.

Luego el cacao pasó a funcionar como moneda de intercambio en los tianguis (mercado) esto se dio mucho en la época de la colonización, por lo tanto el dinero crecía en los árboles.

Más tarde esta bebida le llamó la atención a los españoles, los cuales quisieron llevarla al viejo mundo; existen datos que siempre mencionan a Cristobal Colón, hernán cortéz, pero en una web sobre historia del cacao, mencionan que realmente los que llevaron el chocolate a la corte española fueron los miembros de una delegación de nobles mayas kekchíes de Alta Verapaz. Aún no he podido encontrar más datos de esto, ya que siempre dicen que fue don Hernán

Como la bebida tradicional es mas fuerte y sin azúcar, pues al principio no era tan "agradable" como hoy en día, así que los europeos decidieron ponerle grandes cantidades de azúcar, hasta lograr que su sabor fuera mas dulce y tomable.

Hasta principios del siglo XIX, tanto en el Viejo como en el Nuevo Mundo, el chocolate fue una bebida de élite, demasiado cara para que la disfrutara la gente común, y frecuentemente prohibida para ella
El método para extraer la manteca de la pasta del cacao, inventado por un holandés, condujo a la transformación del chocolate, de una bebida a un producto sólido, que podía ser disfrutada por las masas. El chocolate se convirtió en un gran negocio, y el cultivo del árbol del cacao se difundió a través del globo.

1. Ishtar

I don´t know why, but she looks powerfull.

Me atrae mucho, se ve tan poderosa.

2. Poseidón

He is my favorite in the greek myth. I love the ocean and water, so I want to read more about this God.

Es mi favorito en el mito griego, ya que adoro el mar y el agua, por ello quiero leer más sobre este Dios.

3. Ixchel

She is the Goddess of the moon, rain, the mother, etc. She is from the Maya myth.

Es una diosa maya, de la luna, lluvia, parto, la madre y otros.

4. Thor and Odin

I´m a little interesting about Nordic paganims, but at this moment I don´t want to got there yet, I am focus in my roots. But these gods are very cool *__*

Estoy un poco interesada en el paganismo nordico, pero ahorita no es el momento, ya que ando metida en mis raíces, pero si que son unos dioses muy importantes :)

5. Hécate

The dark goddess, she have something, I don´t know yet.

This Friday I Stayed at home, doing household things, like any married woman XD but i´m not married.

my parents were not here, so washing dishes, watered the gardens, really busy and tired T_T

But was nice, because I don´t have such costume, and relax me sometimes to do this things

Este viernes estube todo el dia en casa, ahi haciendo cosas del hogar como mujer casada ajaja pero no lo soy. Mis papas no estubieron, así que me tocó lavar platos, y regar todos los jardines :S super cansado la verdad. Como no es mi costumbre, a veces me gusta hacerlo, me relaja.

other activity I was doing, looking for herbs to burn fat, I want to mix more, but I'm seeing information on how to do it.

Otra actividad que estube haciendo, fue la buscar hierbas para quemar grasa, quiero mezclar varias, pero ando aún buscando información para ver como se debe hacer ^^

On Monday I will go to my new drawing classes, is not my firts time, i can draw a little bit, but I have problems with human body and others, I need to practice and I want to do something before beginning graduate paper.

We are in April, the fourth month of the year ^^, and this time is to share with you about mayan and cacao, I will write a interesting information about the history and gods.

Why this month? Because in my search I found that mayas in April celebrate Gods cocao, so I can´t wait to find more about this, and begin with what I have written.

Estamos en Abril, el cuarto mes del año, y en este tiempo deseo compartir sobre los mayas y el cacao, estaré subiendo información que he resumido sobre historia y dioses.

I´m just fine, trying to make my list for spring equinox.
For Ostara you will need:

1. Flowers, plantas and herbs for planting, and for decorated the altar

2. You have to find your pantheon, god-goddess or what ever you like to use in the ritual ^^

3. to prepare food and beverage, as wine, tea, nuts, vegetables, eggs, honey, bread, seeds.

4. And write a nice ritual, meditation , etc.

these are just examples or the most important.

Hola, estoy muy bien, acá preparandome para el equinoccio de primavera

Para esta fiesta se necesita:

1. Plantas, flores y hierbas para sembrar y usar en el altar.

2. Es de buscar los dioses indicados para el ritual.

3. Preparar comida y bebidas como, nueces, vegetales, huevos, miel, pane, semillas.

4 Y escribir tu propio ritual y meditación, o aquello que gustes hacer.

Esto es importante, pero existen otros elementos, ahi cada quien.

Another thing I love to make for this day, are chocolate eggs *_* they are delicious and very cute. I´m not a expert, but every year I get better with them XDD.

Talking about this candy, chocolate, I´m going to resume all the information about cacao and mayas that I found.

Otra cosa que me gusta mucho hacer para este día, son los huevos de chocolate *_* son deliciosos y tiernos. No soy experta, pero cada año mejoro ejeje.

Hablando de este postre, más adelante subiré una información de los mayas y cacao que he estado reuniendo; solamente tengo que terminar de resumir y luego lo subo.

This day was so quiet and relaxing, I was thinking about ostara, what i´m going to do

Firts I like to do some cooking, maybe chocolate eggs ^^, i always like to give this to my family, and them made the altar, but in this ocassion i want to do a picnic with some friends, is a nice idea. I need to make the list of the food, and were we are going to do the meeting.

Holaa, este día ha sido bien tranquilo y callado, hasta estube pensando como celebraré ostara; primero deseo hacer algo dulce, como huevos de chocolate, los cuales suelo regalar a mis familiares, y luego poner el altar; aunque tengo una nueva idea, hacer un picnic con algunas amigas, para ello necesito hacer la lista de la comida, y buscar lugar donde haremos la reunión.

Tomorrow is new moon, i want to do a meditation and pray for Chile and Haiti, we have to send good energy for them *_* I wish if you could do the same thing, please help them like that if you don´t have money to send.

Mañana es luna nueva, así que deseo hacer meditación y un rezo por Chile y haiti, tenemos que enviar energías positivas a estas personas, deseo que usd. hagan algo parecido, para ayudarlos aunque sea de esta manera, si no tenemos dinero para enviarlo.

Today is wednesday the belly button of the week XD yey!! this day it is 2x1 tickets to the movies, so i´m going with my friends.

Well, I want to share my thoughts about birds; yes I´m not a big fan of this type of animal, but in general i like them.

Ahora es miércoles, es día de cine ^^ yey! iré con unos buenos amigos.

Quiero compartir en esta ocación mis pensamientos acerca de las aves; no soy gran fan de este tipo de animal, pero a nivel general me agradan algunos.

Since I start in paganism, i watch more this criatures in my garden and in the sky you can get lost with them. When i was younger, I always had poultry birds, chickens *_* and I remember in a particular one, him/her (I don´t remember XD) I named the bird Maisito, means a kind of bird food, i don´t know the name in english, but the point is, the name was so funny.Another poultry bird that i enjoy is the duck, it is so cute, i love the way he moves his tail , like a dog or something.

Maybe right know it is my time to put more attention to these animals, because at the moment i´m interesting in croves. I think they are so pretty, elegant, mysterious, and more..

I want to research more about them and later share with you, the information that find out.

Desde que entré al paganismo, observo con mas cuidado a estas criaturas en el jardin y en el cielo uno puede perderse mientras se ven volando.

Cuando era pequeña, siempre tenía aves de corral, el que mas recuerdo es el pollito, y el más especial se llamó Maisito, si el nombre de la comida para estos pequeños XD, era gracioso el nombre y èl-ella (no recuerdo que era)fue especial. Otra ave que disfruto de este mismo tipo, son los patitos, adoro como mueven la colita, asi como los perros.

En este momento creo que me toca averiguar mas sobre aves, y ahorita me interesa mucho una, es el cuervo, me encanta su elegancia, color, misterio, y algo mas; deseo investigar y luego compartir con usd. la información encontrada.

Asi que esten en sintonía.

I went to the movies yesterday, i watched Alice in wonderland, very pretty, nice outfits and visual effects, I recommend.

Last night I did a nice pray and meditation, I try to pray every friday and light up a pink candle, because is the day of Venus, at least I do that. I think of all the blessings that gods have given to me, and to ask for important things, for the people that I love and myself *_*

The goddess/ la Diosa.

I follow the Goddess because I like the idea of connecting with the feminine aspect that I never felt in Catholicism, though the male is important and I no pretent to turn away that aspect, but I'm more for female archetypes.

I said before I do not follow the archetypes, but I try sometimes name the gods, especially in the days that I need to do a work,is just to give greater meaning, I like to guide me through that.

Me gusta seguir a la diosa, porque me agrada la idea de intentar una conexión con el aspecto femenino que nunca logré en el catolicismo, se que lo masculino es importante y no es de darle la espalda, pero soy mas de los arquetipos femeninos.

Hace ratos mencioné que no seguía arquetipos, pero a veces intento de nombrar a los dioses, para realizar trabajos específicos, asi dar un significado importante, me gusta guiarme por medio de ello.

The goddess can found in nature, sometimes in the rain, others in the storm. We can represent her with the cauldron, chalice, flowers, mirror, seashells, beads, water, silver, others.

and animals under her protection are: rabbits, bears, cat, dog, bats, cow, dolphin, spiders, bees, scorpion, horse and owl.

La diosa se encuentra en la naturaleza, a veces en la lluvia y otras en las tormentas. Podemos representarla por medio del caldero, el caliz, flores, espejo, conchas de mar, perlas, agua, plata y otros.

Y los animales que estan bajo su protección, son: Conejos, osos, gato, perro, murciélago, vaca, delfín, arañas, abejas, escorpión, caballo y búho.

To end this post, i like to share with you two recipes to make at home, for use in any esbat or sabbat.

Lunar oil

4 parts Sandalwood
2 part camphor
1 part lemon.
is used to invoke the Goddess during a full moon, you have to mix and to put it before the ritual.

Sabbath oil

2 drops of pine
1 drop of ginger
1 drop of cinnamon
1 drop of sandalwood.

add to an oil base.

Extracted from the book incense, oils and infusion of Scott Cunningham. I like this book so much, its a shame that i can not get all the ingredients, but its very usefull to lern ^^

Antes de terminar este post deseo compartir dos recetas para usar durante el esbat y sabbat, dedicado a la diosa.

Aceite lunar

4 partes de sándalo
2 partes de alcanfor.

1 parte de limón.

Este sirve para invocar a la diosa lunar, es de untarselo antes del ritual.

Aceite de sabbat

2 gotas de pino

1 gota de jengibre

1 gota de canela

1 gota de sándalo.

Es del libro inciensos, aceites e infusiones de Scott Cunningham. Es muy completo y me encanta, aunque no puedo conseguir todo lo que dice, pero es una buena forma de aprender.

Noah the Dove / la paloma Noah.

Deseo compartir esta historia.

These little bunnies, about 6 days old, were attacked by a dog and orphaned. Two out of the litter of five did not survive, and these three were not doing very well.

Noah is a non-releasable, one-legged homing pigeon that we have here in rehab. Noah kept going over to the bunny cage and looking in...even sleeping in front of the door to the cage

Estos conejitos tienen alrededor de 6 días de edad, fueron atacados por un perro, y solo sobrevivieron 3 de los 5, los cuales no estaban muy bien. Noah es una paloma mensajera de una pata que tenemos en rehabilitación. Siempre veía la jaula de los conejos y a veces dormía enfrente de la puerta de estos.

Then, 2 days ago, I only counted 2 bunnies in the cage, so I hurriedly picked Noah up from the front of the cage so I could look inside. And to my surprise....there was the tiny bunny...under Noah's wing...sound asleep! The bunny had crawled through the cage....preferring a featherbed, no doubt.

Now, they are all together, and the bunnies are doing GREAT. When the bunnies scoot underneath Noah's feathers, he extends his wings out to surround them...and they snuggle. When one of them moves and they start sticking out here and there, he gently pushes them back under him with his beak!!!!! This is amazing!!!

Dos días despues, me encontré con dos conejitos en la jaula, faltaba uno, y rapidamente agarré a NOah para apartarlo y ver mejor dentro de la jaula, cuando me encuentro a uno de los conejos bajo el ala, claro prefería un colchón de plumas.

Ahora todos están juntos y van mejorando. Cuando los conejos empujan, Noah los regresa con su pico cerca de èl, esto es grandioso.

I promised to continue talking about my path. I´m a eclectic girl, almost in everything, and therefore also in paganism; I prefer that "name". I dont follow a pantheon or specific gods, just "call" them as God and Goddess.

Prometí que seguiría hablando sobre mi camino espiritual.

Primero me considero como una chica ecléctica, en casi todo, y por lo tanto también en el paganismo, así que prefiero ese título. Yo no sigo panteones o dioses específicos, solo les llamo dios y diosa.

I believe in energy and animism; for me this energy can divided in many others, and from this there is masculine and feminine polarity.

I like the idea of other "characters", like fairys, dwarf, elfs, dragons, etc. Maybe mithology and fantasy can help to know them; There are so many things out there that we have no idea, because of this I do not have a closed mind, but sometimes I am skeptical and it is normal because I also have the scientific side, but usually I'm more a believer or trying, both are important i think; another problem that I have is the christian culture of my country, is not that bad, but can influence too.

I´m trying to apart that, to form a better way in my spirituality.

Creo en una sola energía y en el animismo; la primera consideor que se puede dividir en otras mas pequeñas, y en ella encontramos las polaridades femeninas y masculinas.

Me gusta la idea de otros "seres o personajes" como las hadas, enanos, elfos, dragones, y otros; para conocerlos podemos por medio de la mitología y aun en la fantasía; afuera existe algo más que no conocemos o tenemos idea, por ello no tengo una mente cerrada, aunque a veces puedo ser esceptica, lo cual es normal, ya que tengo también mi parte cientígica, pero por lo general soy mas creyente de lo espiritual, ambas son importantes. Otro problema que tengo es la cultura cristiana-católica de mi país, esto puede llegar a influenciar de alguna u otra manera; intento apartar esta enseñanza para construir mejor mis creencias.

Hello witches ^^, Last Sunday was the Valentine´s day

What you did? Well I went to have a lunch with a good friends, and we stayed at the house of my best friend, just talking and listen love music XDD.

My dad gave me a beautiful arrangement of roses ^^ i was so happy, he never did something like that in the past, maybe he recovery from cancer helped him, a new oportunity of live, you know.

Hola brujos/as, el domingo pasado fue día de San valentín. ¿Qué hicieron?

Yo fui almorzar con unos buenos amigos y luego nos quedamos en la casa de mi mejor amiga, ahi hablando y oyendo música de amor.

Mi papá en la mañana me regaló un hermoso arreglo de rosas, lo cual me puso muy feliz, nunca había hecho algo así antes, supongo que su cura del cáncer le ah ayudado, es una nueva oportunidad de vida, ya saben, eso cambia a la gente. ^^

Before to continue talking about my path, I want to tell you about my goals in paganims or spiritual this year:

1. I want to read more about history and myths in general, but especially the maya.

2. I wish to lern about herbalims ^^ and plants.

3. Do meditations regularly

4. Back to yoga XD at home of course, i´m poor.

5. And last, but very important, lern a little magic jeejeje.

Antes de continuar hablando sobre mi sendero espiritual, quiero compartir mis metas de este año, relacionados con la espiritualidad y paganismo:

1. Quiero leer mucho más sobre historia y mitología a nivel general, pero sobre todo de los mayas.

2. Deseo aprender herbalismo y sobre plantas.

3. Meditar seguido.

4. Regresar a mi yoga jejeeje, ahi tengo todo para hacerlo en casa, no iré a clases porque soy pobre.

5. Y por último, pero muy importante, aprender un poco más sobre la magia en general.

My pets/ mis mascotas

Desde niña eh tenido mascotas, ese amor por los animales siempre ah estado presente, e incluso comencé veterinaria, pero no era para mi y durante esa época no me sentía bien conmigo y la universidad ^^ ahora estoy en el diseño, nunca me voy arrepentir; aunque dejé la carrera, nunca dejé de amar a los animales, y bueno acá les presento a esos pequeños que habitan mi hogar

As a child I loved animals, I began to study veterinary medicine, but in that time I felt bad and I did not like college, I was not satisfied, so I change carrear, but the love of animals continued, and here I present my pets.

La primera es Cahui, es en maya y significa cocodrilo sobre el agua XDD, nada que ver con una perrita, pero me gustó mucho, de todas formas duerme como cocodrilo sobre tierra.

Mi sendero/ My path. part.1

El día de ayer fui con mi madre donde una tía, ella la han operado y pues mi madre quería darle sanación, es algo parecido al reiki.

Yesterday I went to my aunt´s house, she had surgery, and my mother want to give healing, it is like reiki.

Por otro lado, abro este post para comentar acerca de mi sendero espiritual; la razón por la que tomé este estilo, fue porque, no me sentía plena y en esa época sentía una especie de vacío, quería algo porque me dieron ganas, un "llamado" ¿talvez?

On the other hand I post this new entry to tell you about my path in paganism: the reason why I took this style it was, because, I felt bad inside in that time. I was searching something different and I received a call maybe?.

Estube estudiando en un colegio católico y lo único que me gustaba, además de las amistades, eran las misas pero para platicar y cantar los coros, eran bonitos y los tengo muy en el recuerdo, pero a Dios nunca me gustó como lo planteaban, aunque eh de confesar que si no hubiera estado bajo la influencia católica, supongo yo que nunca me hubiera interesado esa búsqueda.

I studied at a catholic school, and the only thing that I enjoyed, besides my friends, was the masses , becauses the choirs and the talks with the other stundents; it was pretty good, i remember a lot of that time. The vision of God at the school I did not like it, but I confess that the catholic influence made me interested in the spiritual search.

Aun sigo teniendo cosas de cristiana, es normal, ya que estoy en un país dominado por esta religión y pues existe un sincretismo desde la colonización, es díficil separar; aun así, intento y voy lográndolo poco a poco.

I still have some Christian influence, but it is normal, i´m living in a country where the "true religion" rules, and there are syncretism from the colonial period, so it is hard to take away all that; even so i´m traying little by little.

¿ Mi sendero? Comencé con la wicca, aunque ahora no me agrade como antes, doy gracias por haber entrado al paganismo con esta religión; ahora en día intento leer sobre la cultura salvadoreña, los mayas y su herencia, costumbres mas propias de mesoamérica; y es que antes me iba solo por lo que leía en la wicca, en vez de adaptar todo a mi región, un gran error, por eso estoy desde cero.

My path? I started with wicca, now i don`t like it to much, but i thankful for having met wicca, who introduced me to paganism. At present I try to read about culture, religions of the mayans and mesoamerica in general; before only read wicca and let me lead, that was bad, a big mistake, so thats why I start from cero.

Witches´s House/ Casas para brujas

It's weekend and it's time to relax, go outside or stay at home comfortable. This time I want to show you something curious and pretty; as I said in the presentation of the blog, I plan to upload everything that is related to paganism, witchcraft, etc., from the perspective of pop culture, you know: like books, music, pictures, movies, art, other.

Looking for images of witches, I found these photos; these are the style of house we should buy or build XDDD, enjoy.

Ya estamos de fin de semana, es momento de descansar y salir o quedarnos en casita cómodamente.

En esta ocasión deseo subir algo curioso y bonito; como había dicho en la presentación del blog, tengo planes de subir aquello que este relacionado con el paganismo, brujería, desde la perspectiva de la cultura pop, ya saben, como libros, música, dibujos, películas, arte, etc.

Búscando ayer imágenes, se me ocurrió ver algunas de brujas, y en eso me encontré con estas fotos; supuestamente estas son el estilo de casa que tendríamos que comprar o construir XDDD, disfruten.

They are nice houses right?, Its funny because when people see this type of construction, related to the stories, myths about witches.
As this post is about houses, I remembered a book by Scott Cunningham, called the magical household, and which could not get on word-pdf, and less to buy, I only have paypal, and where I found only accept credit card, T_T, anyway, is a Wiccan book,
but I would get it because it looks magical and beautiful, only to see who brings it and have fun.

Son lindas casas ¿verdad?, da risa porque las personas al ver este tipo de construcción, relacionan con la brujería y cuentos.

Como este post trata sobre casas, me recordé de un libro de scott cunningham, llamado la casa mágica, el cual no eh podido conseguir en word-pdf, y menos comprarlo, solo tengo paypal, y donde lo ubiqué aceptan tarjeta directa, asi no me gusta comprar T_T; en fin, es un libro wiccano, pero me llama la atención por lo "mágico" y lindo que se ve, es para ver que trae y pasar bien el rato.

Eh encontrado este libro en español en la casa libro y en llewellyn, pero ahi es donde no me aceptan paypal argggh..

Mirando mi entorno natural/ watching my natural environment

Espero hayan pasado una buena fiesta de imbolc; yo dije que no lo celebraba, pero siempre me acuerdo de estas fechas, ya que comencé con la wicca, entonces es imposible no hacer caso, sobre todo si tienes amigos y conocidos que celebran estas fiestas ;)

Hope you had a good feast of Imbolc, I said I didnot celebrate, but I always remember this time, since before I was Wiccan, so it is impossible to ignore, especially if you have friends and others who celebrate this holiday.

No me dan ganas porque no existe una gran diferencia entre diciembre-enero-febrero, asi al extremo pues, pero fijandome más (cosa que hago ultimamente) lo que podría celebrar es el fin de año y su comienzo; el cambio de clima siempre se nota, según mi país, ahorita ya vamos con algo de calor, en diciembre hubo algo de vientos, ese ya es otro motivo jejejeje, luego en la vegetación, mi jardín ya esta mas colorido, y los maquilishuats (arbol nacional de El Salvador, muy parecido al cerezo japonés) ya tienen flores lindas, y otros que también se van llenando de flora.

I do not want to, because there is not a big difference between December-January-February, not extremely, but noticing more (which I do lately) I could celebrate the new year, celebrate the change of climate, according to my country.
It's hot right now, but in December there was some wind, that is another reason jejejeje, the change of time; the vegetation in my garden looks more colorful, and maquilishuats (national tree of El Salvador, much like the cherry Japanese) already have pretty flowers, and others who are filling up with them.

Así que concluyo que en esta época si va perfecta la fiesta de imbolc en mi región, pero a pesar de esto, no me llama XD, lo importante es darse cuenta de nuestro entorno y ser críticos acerca de las fiestas neopaganas, ya que no podemos ser incoherentes, todo tiene que adaptarse a cada uno, y donde vivimos.

So I conclude that at this time, the festival of Imbolc is perfect for my region, but despite this, it is not my intention to celebrate XD, the important thing is to realize our environment and be critical of neo-pagan festivals,
since we can not be inconsistent, everything has to adapt to each, and where we live

First esbat of the year/ primer esbat del año

Today you can see the full moon, the goddes is full and very bright in heaven bless us all.

The first moon of the year, thank god, i like esbats because you can sit down and just feel the energy, it is not necessary to do something big, but we are free to do a ritual when ever we want, the importan is to remember of the goddess and say thanks for everything, and ask for others, and give bless to anyone.

Este día se puede ver la luna llena, la diosa esta llena y brillante en el cielo, bendiciéndonos a todos nosotros. Es la primera luna del año, gracias a Dios, a mi me gusta mucho el esbat porque uno puede sentarse simplemente y sentir la energía, no es necesario hacer una gran cosa, pero cada uno es libre, por lo tanto se puede realizar un ritual; lo más importante es acordarnos de la Diosa y dar gracias, pedir bendiciones por otros y conocidos.

If you are a witch who likes formalities, my advice is to follow a ritual that you feel comfortable and easy to follow, according to your abilities or maybe just a little meditation with a nice background music, it all depends on your spiritual way or side, like celtic, chamanism, maya, asatru, nordic, etc. Accepts the energy from our mother, and relax ;)

Si tu eres una bruja de gran formalidad, mi consejo es seguir un ritual que sientas facil, y de acuerdo a tus habilidades o quizás una meditación con buena música de fondo; todo ello va a depender de tu sendero, sea celta, chamanismo, maya, asatru o nórdico. Acepta la energía de nuestra madre y relájate.

Today I will make moon shape cookies, I hope them taste well; them i´m going to do a meditation, nothing big, and perhaps reed a poem, i´m not a big fan of poetry, but sometimes is very nice to try something new.

Hola, este día deseo hablar acerca del fénomeno que se esta viviendo en todo el mundo, y es un reencuentro con nuestro entorno natural; muchas personas no solo intentan dejar las religiones "verdaderas" si no que también tratan de ser mas ecológicas, ya que el problema que vivimos actualmente se debe a que el ser humano es terco y le gusta dañar la naturaleza, luego que ya es hora de un cambio de tiempo.

Hello, this day I want to talk about the phenomenon that exists in the world and is the reunion with our natural environment, many people leave the monotheistic religions, also try to be more ecological becausthe problem we live in today is because the people damaged the nature, and the other thing is that it´s time for a change of all planet.

Los mayas dejaron escritos donde hablan de estos cambios, y algo que me llama la atención es la recomendación de regresar a la naturaleza como nuestros antepasados, el cambio de fé, una divinidad única, y el paso a otra dimensión; la realidad solo la viviremos cuando llege el solsticio de invierno en el 2012, pero antes tenemos que seguir nuestro camino espiritual, despertar dicen muchos.

The Mayans left writings which speak of some changes, and something that catches my attention is the recommendation back to nature as our ancestors, the change of faith, a single deity, and step into another dimension;
This will be when the winter solstice arrives in 2012, but first we must continue our spiritual journey, awakening many say.

Si menciono todo esto, es porque durante el período que comencé en el neo-paganismo, nunca puse atención a los fenomenos naturales como lo hago ahora, claro aun tengo que aprender mas sobre astrología, y fijarme en los cambios que se dan en mi país con respecto a la flora, fauna etc; pero lo importante de todo este cambio es que me ayudan a ser mejor persona y a tener amor por las cosas pequeñas, desde la felicidad que me produce ver la luna llena (la madre-diosa) hasta sentir el rico viento soplar sobre mi cara.

I mention all this is because during the period that I started in the neo-paganism, never put attention to natural phenomena as I do now,clearly I still have to learn more about astrology, and noticing the changes that occur in my country related with flora, fauna, etc., but the point of all this change is to help me become a better person and have love for small things from the happiness I see the full moon occurs (the mother-goddess) to feel the rich wind blowing on my face.

Confieso que no soy una ecologista o green peace lover, tengo mis etapas materialistas XD, pero gracias a la espiritualidad intento cambiar poquito a poquito algunos malos hábitos; la espiritualidad me ayuda y creo que a todos a descubrir nuestro yo interno, a convivir con otros seres, no solo físicos si no de otros lugares invisibles ante nuestros ojos, como las hadas, duendes, energías de todo tipo.
Lo más importante es concentrarnos en lo bueno y desechar lo malo, como dicen los mayas no importa que camino sigamos, mientras sea aquel que nos eleve hasta el universo, divinidad, dios-diosa o en lo que creemos.

I confess that I am not an environmentalist or green peace lover, I have my phases materialistic XD, but thanks to the spirituality I try to change little by little some bad habits, spirituality helps me and I think we all discover our inner selves, to live with other beings, not just physicists also those invisible places, such as fairies, goblins, energies of all kinds.
The most important thing is to focus on the good and avoid the negative, the Maya say no matter which path we take, as long as the one that lifts us to the universe, divinity, god, goddess or what we believe.

I am a girl who discovered neopaganism 3 years ago and a half, and since then I started researching on forums about the Wiccan religion, a word that I first read in the book by paulo cohello call Brida; clearly has no connection with reality, but it helped to get something new.

Also at that time I felt a little strange, I wanted to find something to fill me in spirit, because I always believed in a deity, but never convinced me the Catholic religion or Christianity.
In Wicca I found my way, but over time I became convinced that it was not for me, so I decided to stay as neo-pagan, because I think it's becoming another church, and I'm not hierarchy, apart from that i I want to read history, study and start from the beginning, trying to focus on my roots and country.

I open this blog to share moments of my life as a pagan, or at least attempts to spirituality, and "mood", poems, stories, legends, pop culture associated with this world.

I will try to post both in English and Spanish my native language.

Soy una chica que descubrió el neopaganismo hace ya 3 años y medio, y desde entonces comencé a investigar en foros sobre la religión wicca, palabra que leí por primera vez en el libro de paulo cohello llamado Brida; claro no tiene relación con la realidad, pero me ayudó a buscar algo.
además en ese tiempo me sentía un poco extraña, deseaba buscar algo que me llenara en lo espiritual, porque siempre creí en una divinidad, pero nunca me convenció la religión católica o cristianismo.
Con la wicca encontré mi camino, pero a lo largo del tiempo me convencí que no era tampoco para mi, por eso decidí quedarme como neo pagana, porque creo que se esta convirtiendo en otra iglesia, y no soy de jerarquías, aparte de esto quiero leer historia, estudiar y comenzar desde el principio, intentando enfocarme en mis raíces y país.

Abro este blog para compartir momentos de mi vida como pagana, o al menos intentos de espiritualidad, y también "humor", poesías, cuentos, leyendas, cultura pop relacionado con este mundo.

Intentaré postear tanto en inglés como español mi lengua natal.
